Privacy Policy Statement

This Policy Statement provides information on the obligations and policies of LUCKY 7 HOSPITALITY LIMITED and, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and associated companies (the “Company” or “We”) under the HKSAR Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance - Cap. 486 (“the Ordinance”). We respect the privacy rights of our customers and recognise the importance of protecting the information collected from you. This policy guides how we collect, store, and use the information you provided and applies only to Website (https://lucky7h.hk) (“site”) and Mobile Application (LUCKY 7) (“App”) maintained by the Company but no other companies or organisations to which we link.

This policy specifically addresses the Company’s obligations in respect of the data privacy laws of the HKSAR. Where the Company’s operations are subject to privacy legislation other than that of HKSAR, then this policy shall be applied so far as applicable and consistent with such local legislation. We reserves the right to make any changes and corrections to this terms of use as and when it considers appropriate and without notice.

Collection of Personal Information and its purposes

When you browse the site or use the App, you may have chance to provide us your personal information including but not limited to your name, contact telephone number and email address (“Personal Information”) when providing us your valuable comments. The Personal Information is provided to us voluntarily. You agree and understand that the Personal Information you provided would be kept by our company on confidential basis for the purposes of:

  1. verifying your identity; provision of goods and services to you;
  2. marketing and advertising of any goods and/or services to you by the Company, agents, contractors and third party upon your consent in accordance with the requirement of the Ordinance;
  3. conducting market research and analysis on our company’s products and services;
  4. to handle and follow up service calls, enquiries, requests and complaints;
  5. prevention of crime;
  6. disclosure as required by law;
  7. any other purposes as may be agreed between you and the Company apart from this Policy.

The Site may also collect data relating to your online session, the use of which is to provide statistical information so that we can better the services and take necessary actions against any unscrupulous party who places any illegal or unlawful contents on any website through the Company’s web servers. The types of data may include but are not limited to the browser type and version; operating system; the IP address and /or domain name; and URLs.

This personal information collected may include relevant login and authentication details as well as information relating to your activities and preferences across the Company’s Site. Accuracy of Personal Data

The Company may require validating the personal data provided to ensure accuracy or authenticity of the identity document supplied from you to us. We may request you to produce the identity document in person for checking at a time convenient to you.

Retention of Personal Data

Once the Company has obtained your’s personal information and/or data, it will be maintained securely in the Company’s system. Subject to legal requirements, the personal information and/or data of you will be retained by the Company until the you requests the Company in writing to erase his/her own personal information and/or data from the Company's database or to terminate his/her membership of the Channels.

Disclosure or Transfer of Personal Data

The Company agrees to take all practicable steps to keep all personal information and data of Users confidential and/or undisclosed, subject to the following.

Generally speaking, the Company will only disclose and/or transfer Users’ personal information and/or data to the Company’s personnel and staff for the purposes as set out in Section titled “Collection of Personal Information and its purposes” above. However, the Company may disclose and/or transfer such information and/or data to third parties under the following circumstances:

  1. where the information and/or data is disclosed and/or transferred to any third party suppliers or external service providers who have been duly authorized by the Company to use such information and/or data and who will facilitate the product and services on the Channels
  2. where the information and/or data is disclosed and/or transferred to any agents or associates of the Company who have been duly authorized by the Company to use such information and/or data;
  3. where permitted under the “Terms and Conditions”;
  4. where the Company needs to protect and defend its rights and property;
  5. where the Company considers necessary to do so in order to comply with the applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation compliance with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on the Channels; and
  6. where the Company may disclose or transfer Users’ information to a third party if the Company sells, transfers, divests, or discloses all or a portion of its business or assets to another company in connection with or during negotiation of any merger, financing, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, transaction, or proceeding. Such third party will have to comply with the appropriate confidentiality and security measures.

Access and Correction of Personal Information

If you wish to access or correct your Personal Information, you may send us your request by email to contactus@lucky7h.hk. Our company will respond to your request and update the Personal Information in our record within the next 7 working days from the date of receipt of your request.

Personal Information for Direct Marketing

The Company may from time to time send to members and Users of the Channels, by way of emails and/or short message service (SMS) and/or APP and/or other communication software notifications, newsletters, marketing and promotional materials and information regarding the Company or its third-party advertisers’ products, services and the like based on the personal information and data that the Users have provided to the Company. The Company may use Users’ data in direct marketing and the Company requires the Users’ consent (which includes an indication of no objection) for that purpose.

Cease to use the Personal Information for Direct Marketing

If you want to stop receiving any promotional material or leaflets from our company, you may at any time contact our company by sending email to contactus@lucky7h.hk stating your name, mobile number and email address indicating that you want us to stop using your Personal Information for direct marketing or you want us to stop sending you our promotional or advertising materials. Upon receipt of your request, our company will remove your Personal Information from our list within the next 7 working days and stop using your Personal Information for direct marketing purpose. Please note that we will still send you the Company fundamental notifications and correspondence in relation to your use of the services provided by the Company. If you are a Lucky 7 Membership Programme member, you will also continue to receive fundamental notifications and correspondence in relation to your use of the services.
